rotabench® EPS/CT is a precision instrument for measure the cogging torque of an electric motors. It was developled originally to measure the cogging torque of electric motors for Electric Power Steering (“EPS”) applications, but is applicable for any other motor type.
The mayor components are:
- mechanic setup made from milled aluminium parts
- Maxon EC drive
- Hollow-shaft encoder with 2048 Tics per revolution
- and a Lorenz DR2512 torque sensor
