rotabench® 6P 100/60E is a 3-phase MOSFET power stage based on the On Semiconductor NXV08V110DB1 MOSFET Module.

It is designed to act as a current amplifier in a test bench environment to power electric motors with 12, 24, 36 or 48 Volt nom. DC-Bus voltage. It can generate up to 100 Ampere RMS continuously, and can be overloaded for a few seconds to 120 Ampere RMS per phase.

It is used in a setup where a DSP system is generating a PWM to control the switching of the 3 Half-Bridges and an external PSU provides the DC-Bus power with the purpose to power and control an electic motor. Typically this device is used by control engineers, who need to develop or evaluate their control algorithms in DSP-Systems like e.g. Matlab or dSPACE and need an amplifier, which translates the PWM signals into a 3-phase rotating field.
